in Community

The 2nd Annual Run with the Cops 5K/10K has been rescheduled to Saturday, Dec. 16 after being postponed by the unhealthy air quality caused by the Northern California wildfires.

The community is encouraging local runners to participate in the fundraiser for the Redwood City Police Cadet Program, which is made up of high school and college-age youth and aims to increase community relations between young people and police.

The cost to participate is $20 for children under age 12 and $40 for adults for both the 5K and 10K runs and 1-mile walk. The race will start at 8 a.m. at Pacific Shores Center at 1700 Seaport Blvd. in Redwood City.
