Three Redwood City residents have been arrested in connection with an investigation into possession of child pornography, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office.
In October 2020, detectives received a cyber-tip from the Silicon Valley Internet Crimes Against Child Task Force (SVICAC), leading to a lengthy investigation, the Sheriff’s Office said.
Moises Vieyravgellegos, 25, was subsequently arrested on suspicion of possessing numerous photographs of child pornography at his Redwood City residence. A search warrant was later served at his home, located in the 1300 block of Arguello Street. Ramon Vieyragellgos, 27, Moises’ brother, and Moises’ girlfriend Alexia Lopezreyes, 26, were arrested on suspicion of attempting to “conceal or destroy vital evidence pertinent to this case,” the Sheriff’s Office said. All three suspects were booked at the Maguire Correctional Facility.
The Sheriff’s Office encourages anyone who has any information about the suspect to contact Detective Carryn Barker at 650-363-4050 or cbarker@smcgov.org.
