Classic and vintage cars will roll into the San Mateo County Event Center Sat., Aug. 21 when the Rotary Club of San Mateo hosts its “Classic Car Show.”
Set for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the event will take place in the outdoor areas of the Central Mall, Plaza Stage, West Mall and West Parking Lot at the event center, which is located at 1346 Saratoga Dr. in San Mateo.
Aside from classic and vintage autos on display all day, there will also be live music, vendors, food, beverages, a silent auction and other attractions, per organizers.
Those entering their vehicles into the car show will receive a free T-shirt, as well as a goodie bag and entry to the awards contest. The fee to enter a car is $50. Admission for regular attendees is free, while parking is $10 with no in-out privileges permitted.
“Proceeds from the event support and fund the local Rotary scholarship and community programs,” said organization officials in a statement.
