As part of our $14 billion homelessness package to create 55,000 new housing units & treatment slots, we’re getting folks off our streets & into safe housing, shelter, and services.
- Stop offering shelter and offer housing shelter is a temporary solution to hid the problem not an actual solution.
- It’s a start but there’s are 60.000 + homeless people in skid row alone. So there’s a lot more to be done, 1400 shelters doesn’t begin to scratch the surface of CA’s homeless population.

- A thousand encampments but only 1,400 people housed…. ya know an encampment is more than one person generally. That is probably 10,000 homeless people further displaced
