Stop offering shelter and offer housing shelter is a temporary solution to hid the problem not an actual solution.
It’s a start but there’s are 60.000 + homeless people in skid row alone. So there’s a lot more to be done, 1400 shelters doesn’t begin to scratch the surface of CA’s homeless population.
Why is it that when I see workers clearing encampments they're wearing hazmat suits and you're wearing a sweater. Wait, this isn't a photo-OP is it?🤔
A thousand encampments but only 1,400 people housed…. ya know an encampment is more than one person generally. That is probably 10,000 homeless people further displaced
