Three Redwood City police officers joined a group of local kids for a Shop with a Cop event sponsored by Target on Wednesday.
Officers Monica De la Cerda, Ramiro Perez and Darren Schrum took the underprivileged local kids on a Christmas shopping spree at the Target store on Coleman Road in San Jose.
“Redwood City PD is one of several law enforcement agencies that were offered the opportunity to take a few underprivileged local kids to pick out toys for themselves and their siblings for Christmas,” police said.
RCPD has participated in the event for the last five years as part of Target’s ongoing partnership with local law enforcement.
