‘Raising Resilient Girls’ Educational Talk on Jan. 25

Hoover Community Elementary School in Redwood City is inviting parents to “Raising Resilient Girls,” a free talk with an expert that provides practical, actionable advice for parents supporting young girls.

The Girls Leadership’s educator April McMurty is set to cover the development of girl dynamics from pre-school through high school at the talk on Jan. 25. The event will run from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Hoover Community Elementary at 701 Charter St.

Onsite childcare will be provided. The program will consist of an hour-long talk and 30 minutes of Q&A. The event is free to attend, but RSVP’s are required. Pizza will be provided.

Girls Leadership is a national non-profit organization that started in 1999.
