The Redwood City Public Library is set to host a workshop on home-brewing beer on Saturday, Jan. 27.
Residents are asked to register for the “Getting Started with Homebrewing” course at 2 p.m. at the Downtown Library, 1044 Middlefield Road.
“Derek Wolfgram and Mike Conant from the Silicon Valley Sudzers homebrew club and Andrew Carroll from the HeadQuarters homebrew club will present an interactive introduction to homebrewing beer, including ingredients, techniques, equipment, beer styles, recipe formulation, and more,” according to organizers.
Due to liability reasons, there will be no beer tasting at the program. However, folks are invited to continue the discussion at Freewheel Brewing Company afterward.
