“Free First Fridays” begins at San Mateo County History Museum this Friday, Jan. 5 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 2200 Broadway St. Redwood City, California.
The museum will offer free admission, as well as two programs for both adults and children. At 11 a.m., preschool children are invited to learn about railroads. Museum staff will help children create model paper trains, conduct a special program within its “Journey to Work” exhibit and attendees can hear the story “Down by the Station.”
For adults, docents will lead museum tours starting at 2 p.m.
“First Free Fridays” is sponsored by San Mateo Credit Union.
