Residents of Redwood Shores are encouraged to attend a neighborhood watch program meeting on Jan. 31.
Redwood City Police Department Capt. John Spicer and Officer Chris Rasmussen plan to discuss crime trends, public safety updates and answer questions about crime prevention. The event, which is meant solely for Redwood Shores residents, will start at 6:30 p.m. at the Sandpiper School Community Room at 797 Redwood Shores Parkway.
The Neighborhood Watch is a crime prevention program which enlists the active participation of residents in cooperation with local police to prevent and reduce crime in Redwood City’s neighborhoods. Residents are encouraged through the program to get to know their neighbors and police officers and work together on crime prevention.
