A person was fatally struck by a southbound Caltrain at the Main Street crossing in Redwood City just before 4 p.m.
The incident involved Train No. 156. None of the over 400 passengers were injured.
It marked the 11th Caltrain-related fatality this year.
The victim’s identity has not yet been released.
