San Mateo County Brewery Festival will be largest yet

The largest San Mateo County Brewery Festival yet — featuring 13 breweries and two cider houses in the county — is set to take place this Saturday, July 20.

The 6th Annual festival will take place from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the San Mateo County Code 30 Foundation, 2421 Broadway in Redwood City. It serves as a benefit for the foundation, which provides immediate financial assistance to families of fallen peace officers from the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office.

The Standard Entry ticket ($40) for the event allows for admission at 3:30 p.m. and includes unlimited beer samples, an all-you-can-eat buffet featuring Wisconsin Brats and a commemorative take home pint glass (with no handle).

The Early Bird admission ticket ($50) is at 2 p.m. and includes unlimited samples, the buffet and a commemorative take home pint glass (with no handle).

The VIP admission ticket ($60) allows entry at 1 p.m., unlimited samples (with access to special and limited brews on tap beginning at 1 p.m.), the buffet and a commemorative glass with a handle.
