Redwood City police arrest 2 in El Camino Real robbery

Two people were arrested in connection with a robbery on El Camino Real Thursday morning, according to the Redwood City Police Department.

Shea Nobbs, 25, and Giovanny Ochoa, 18, were booked on suspicion of robbery at San Mateo County Jail.

Officers responded to the 2800 block of El Camino Real, which runs between Berkshire Avenue and Oakwood Drive, at about 6:10 a.m. and contacted the victim. She told police she was walking to work when two suspects approached and grabbed her arms attempting to take her cell phone. The victim retained her cell phone but the suspects made off with her headphones, police said.

After broadcasting a description of the suspects, Nobbs and Ochoa were located in the vicinity of crime scene and possibility identified by the victim, police said. The suspects were reportedly in possession of the victim’s property.
