San Mateo County’s “Pop-Up” Mobile Vote Center will roll into Hillsdale Shopping Center on Friday, Oct. 30, and remain there through Election Day, providing easy and convenient access to local voters, including disabled residents.
The Mobile Vote Center will be located in the shopping center’s parking lot at Hillsdale Boulevard and West Sailer Drive. It’s open to any San Mateo County resident on Friday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., on Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on Election Day on Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The Mobile Vote Center has all the capabilities of a stationary Vote Center, with the ability for residents to register to vote, to drop off ballots, to vote in person, get a replacement ballot and to receive voter assistance from Elections staff. The mobile facility has been parked at Pescadero High since Oct. 25 in order to provide easy access to rural communities impacted by the recent wildfires. Previously, it spent time at the Cow Palace, Half Moon Bay Airport, and Serramonte Center.
This year, San Mateo County is providing a myriad ways for voters to cast ballots, from mail-in to ballot drop boxes to Vote Centers and even a drive-thru option. For more information, go here.
