The Redwood City Library is offering a fun experience for youth over the winter break, inviting families to pick up materials for crafts and activities from the Downtown Library on Sunday, Dec. 13 from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
After bringing the materials home, families are then invited to the Library’s Kids Page to engage in activities that explore nine winter holidays, such as Christmas, Hanukkah, Santa Lucia, Dongzhi and Kwanzaa.
Crafts are suited for children 3-12 years old, although everyone will enjoy the activities together.
They can be picked up in Parking Lot B of the Downtown Parking Lot. Kits are distributed while supplies last on a first-come, first-served basis.
For those who don’t get materials kit, you can still participate. A list of craft materials needed can be found in the craft video within each playlist.
The program is sponsored by Friends of the Redwood City Library Bookstore.
