Vitalant is hosting a couple of blood donation drives in January that aim to help mitigate a persistent blood donation shortage.
“All donors are tested for COVID-19 antibodies in order to help identify potential convalescent plasma donors who can help those currently battling COVID-19,” organizers said.
One of the blood donation drives is taking place Saturday, Jan. 2, at the San Mateo Marriott from 10 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. To register, click here.
