A new healthcare clinic that opened at the Hillsdale Shopping Center in San Mateo on Monday will at first provide urgent care and COVID-19 diagnostic antibody testing services before transitioning into a full-service primary care clinic.
Healthcare provider Carbon Health is opening the San Mateo clinic along with two more clinics in San Jose next week, adding to its existing network of clinics in Santa Clara, San Francisco and Sunnyvale.
“Patients can book in-clinic urgent care and/or COVID-19 diagnostic PCR/serology antibody test appointments without a referral,” according to Carbon Health. “COVID-19 testing appointments start with an on-site visit with a medical provider, followed by a diagnostic PCR or antibody test administered by an on-site nurse. Through the Carbon Health app, patients can access their test results, follow-up with their provider via chat, and book future appointments.”
All clinics will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
