San Mateo Library offering delivery to eligible patrons during pandemic

in Community

The San Mateo Public Library is now offering home delivery to residents of San Mateo and Hillsborough who are unable to visit the library during the pandemic.

Books, audiobooks, music and movies are available for delivery to “residents of all ages with a temporary or long-term illness, injury, impairment, medical condition, or disability who are unable to visit the library,” the city said.

Eligible Library patrons can request up to 10 items for delivery. Library materials are delivered once per month, and delivery will be contactless.

“We will arrange a schedule with a delivery window,” the Library states. “To return materials, simply leave them outside your door the day of your scheduled delivery.”
