A man was arrested today for driving 98 miles per hour in a 35 miles per hour zone on E. Hillsdale Boulevard, according to the San Mateo Police Department.
San Mateo police said the “reckless” speeding will result in the car being towed and impounded for 30 days. He was also cited for additional vehicle code violations, police said.
“We wonder if he now believes playing Speed Racer was worth it?,” police added. “Probably not.”
