Redwood City police are investigating shootings that occurred over the weekend at the dead end of Standish Street near Winslow Street.

On Sunday about 1:51 a.m., a large group of people were congregating near the intersection when an unknown suspect or suspects fired several shots toward the group. The group fled the area and didn’t report the shooting to police, but concerned residents reported it later in the morning.

“Officers located five .45 caliber casings and two .9 mm casings at the scene,” police said, adding that another neighbor said shots were also fired in the area the previous day.

Anyone with additional information regarding this incident is encouraged to contact Redwood City Police Det. Brian Luo (650) 870-7619 or the Redwood City Police Department’s Tip Line at (650) 780-7107.
