San Mateo police are investigating a shooting that injured two people in the parking lot of the Marriott Residence Inn early Saturday.
Police learned the shooting, which occurred about 12:35 a.m. at the hotel located at 2000 Winward Way, occurred between two groups of people visiting from outside of San Mateo County. Police believe the incident is isolated and not random, and are investigating.
No arrests have been announced. The current conditions of the victims were not immediately known.
