Valley Market & Gas at 2303 Spring St. in unincorporated Redwood City was the victim of a robbery Monday night, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to the fuel station about 5:35 p.m. and learned a suspect entered the store, simulated a firearm under an article of clothing and demanded cash from the register. No details were released on the amount that was stolen. No injuries were reported.
“The suspect is described as a white male, 25–30 years old, wearing black shirt and pants, black beanie hat with a black and white face mask,” deputies said.
