San Mateo is inviting residents to share their thoughts on two design alternatives aimed at improving the playground at Central Park. The city is hosting a virtual community workshop on Thursday, June 3, at 6:30 p.m. The playground was deemed outdated and in need of improvements in the Central Park Master Plan adopted in 2016, the city said. "We'll be unveiling the two design alternatives at the upcoming workshop and participants will get to provide feedback about which playground improvements they'd prefer," the city said.
