A 16-year-old mother and her 5-month-older daughter who were reported missing have been located, are safe, unharmed and have been reunited with their family, police said.
San Mateo police made the announcement at 8:40 p.m. on Facebook Thursday.

Claudia Ramirez-Banales, 16, and 5-month-old Abigail Ramirez-Banales were reported missing on Tuesday. Her family had last communicated with Claudia on Saturday, after “she expressed a desire to live separately from them.”
