The San Carlos Farmers’ Market will return to Laurel Street, operating between San Carlos Avenue and Cherry Street, beginning on Aug. 15, market officials announced via social media.
The market was moved from downtown Laurel Street to the Industrial Arts District during the pandemic to make room for outdoor dining space for restaurants on Laurel Street. On July 12, the San Carlos City Council approved changes to the city’s outdoor dining program on the 600 block of Laurel Street to make way for the return of the Farmers’ Market, which saw reduced vendors and revenue in the Industrial Arts District location.
The market will be open at its current Bayport and Varian spot for the last time on Aug. 8 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Visit the market’s Facebook page for more information and updates.
