Neighborhood comes together to beautify Fleishman Park with painted tiles

in Community

Sixty-eight painted hand tiles have been installed at Fleishman Park, courtesy of the Redwood City Parks and Arts Foundation and local mosaic artist Barbara Bussler.

The tiles were leftover and found stored in a neighbor’s house, city officials said.

“Volunteers from the neighborhood and the Foundation came together to learn about tile making and installation,” the city said. “It’s wonderful that we are able to preserve these tiles and help beautify Fleishman Park.”
