Hillsdale Shopping Center has unveiled its free Outdoor Live-Music Concert Series Fridays and Saturday nights from Sept. 17 through Oct. 1 from 6-8 p.m., which will feature the sounds of the 70s, 80s, 90s and 2000s on the North Block Plaza.
The concert lineup slated for the late summer weekend evenings include: Busta Groove, Fri. Sept. 17; Unauthorized Rolling Stones, Sat. Sept. 18; Neon Playboys, Fri., Sept. 24; Platinum Status, Sat., Sept. 25; and Billy Martin, Fri., Oct. 1.
“Bring a blanket, grab a bite to eat, beverages, cocktails or beer—picnic style—from one of Hillsdale’s favorite food spots like Belcampo, Shake Shack or from any of the Dining Terrace restaurants,” said center event organizers. They also suggested outdoor patios for catching the concerts, including MidiCi, Palette Tea Garden, Pinstripes or Paul Martin’s American Grill.
“It’s a great way to enjoy the last of the warm summer evenings with family and friends,” added organizers.
The Hillsdale Shopping Center is located at 60 31st Ave. in San Mateo and features specialty stores, restaurants and a lively entertainment scene. Hours of operation for the center are Mon.-Sat. 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sun. 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
