An unknown suspect or suspects apparently used some type of projectile to damage four windows in the upper floors of the Maguire Correctional Facility, but the incident caused no injuries nor did it compromise the safety and security of the facility, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office.

Correctional staff of the facility at 300 Bradford St. in Redwood City discovered the damaged windows on Saturday and checked the area for evidence and witnesses, but “there are no known suspects or witnesses at this time,” the Sheriff’s Office said.
