A pedestrian who was trespassing on the Caltrain tracks was fatally struck by a train south of Hillsdale Station on Tuesday afternoon, the transit agency reported.
The incident occurred at about 1:52 p.m. and involved Northbound train No. 119. Emergency personnel responded to the scene and trains were temporarily held on both tracks. Service has since reopened at maximum speeds.
No injuries were reported among the passengers. Further details weren’t immediately known.
