Two people were both stabbed in the face and hands in North Fair Oaks on Sunday, and a suspect is in custody, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were summoned to the 400 block of Stanford Avenue just after 11 p.m. on a report of an assault with a deadly weapon. They learned that a man attacked two male victims with a knife.
Selvin Lemus-Suriano, 28, of Redwood City, was subsequently located and arrested. He was booked into Maguire Correctional Facility on charges of attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon and criminal threats, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
