Tony Gemignani—a world renown, award-winning pizza maker and restauranteur—will celebrate the opening of his newest eatery, Slice House Pizza, in Belmont with a “Ribbon Cutting Ceremony” Thurs., April 28 at 5 p.m.
Belmont Mayor Julia Mates will be on hand to help cut the ribbon and welcome the restaurant to the city.
Gemignani, who grew up on an apricot and cherry orchard farm in Fremont, is known for using only the freshest ingredients in his culinary creations. Slice House Pizza also has eateries in Walnut Creek, San Francisco (Haight St. & North Beach), San Leandro, Oakland, Graton Casino, various sports arenas, as well as locations in Nevada, Texas and Idaho, per its website.
