Local residents can get the scoop on the latest in estate planning at the Community Foundation of San Carlos’ free seminar Fri., Aug. 19 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Chestnut Room at the Adult Community Center in San Carlos, 601 Chestnut St. in San Carlos. The estate planning seminar will also be available via Zoom.
Estate attorney Kimberly Barrot, a partner at Falk, Barrot & Associates, LLP will share with participants “how to plan for the future and protect assets for loved ones, support favorite charities and minimize estate taxes,” per the foundation. Barrot will also cover living trusts and other estate planning issues.
Participants of all ages are encouraged to bring questions that Barrot can discuss with them following the presentation. Light refreshments will be available.
All are welcome to attend the seminar but space is limited to 30 people. Those interested in attending should RSVP by emailing shirley@sancarloscf.org by Thurs., Aug. 18 or by signing up at the front desk of the Adult Community Center in San Carlos. When RSVP-ing, please indicate whether you plan to attend in-person or via Zoom.
