The always-popular one-ring circus is themed “Liberta” this year and brings “thrilling new acts,” organizers said. Among the acts are Kamorov Cossack Horseback riders, a trapeze artist, Kenyan acrobats, a highwire act, a new dog act, the “Ladder of Death,” the amusing antics of Nino the Clown, and more.

On Veterans Day on Friday, the circus will perform three shows in honor of veterans. At 6:30 p.m., Nov. 22, another special show will feature Julian Zoppé, a 13-year-old, seventh-generation circus artist and Redwood City native. Julian will walk the high wire in his debut.

Finally, back by popular demand, Zoppé Circus will host its Circus Camp for kids from Nov. 21-23, where kids ages 7-15 participate in activities under the Big Top from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The circus is happening at at the Downtown Main Library Parking Lot, 1044 Middlefield Road.
