The new art exhibit “Environments of Emergence: Influences and Inspiration” has launched at the CZI Community Space in Redwood City, according to the City’s newsletter.

The annual art exhibition is a collaboration between the Redwood City Parks and Arts Foundation (RWCPAF) and the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative (CZI) and looks to “create an inclusive, vibrant gathering space and celebrates the unique talents and life experiences of Bay Area artists,” per the City.

Eleven artists responded to RWCPAF’s call for artists of all ages and abilities living or working in San Mateo County. The participating artists are Olivia Ramos, Shari Bryant, Lauren Yurkovich, Jiyul Park, Eva Arteaga, Deborah Shea, Chris Rasmussen, Belinda Chlouber, Adriene Busch, Ellen Konar and Steve Goldband.

“From scratch art to contemporary weaving, the selected artists showcase a unique set of skills that demonstrate the role that art plays in enriching our local communities,” said the City.

The artists’ work is on exhibit now in the CZI Community Space through the spring of 2024. The CZI Community Space is located at 801 Jefferson Avenue in Redwood City. Learn more about the exhibit and artists here.
