You can support free live music in Redwood City by attending this fun event next month.
From 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, May 19, the community is invited to attend a kick-off fundraising event to support the free Friday Night Concert Series at Courthouse Square. The May 19 event, hosted by the Redwood City Downtown Business Group and Redwood City Parks & Arts Foundation, will feature a DJ, dancing, several restaurants serving complimentary food samples and beer and wine for sale from the Redwood City Parks and Arts Foundation, the proceeds of which will support the concert series.
The entry fee is $20, but donations of any kind are welcome and are tax deductible. Follow the event on Facebook here.
Music on the Square officially begins on Friday, June 2.
