Hear from a true Redwood City legend at the San Mateo County History Museum on Feb. 10.
Claire Mack, a retired radio and television personality who was San Mateo’s first black mayor, is set to discuss her family’s experiences as part of Black History Month.
The presentation is set to take place from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 10 at the San Mateo County History Museum, Courtroom A. It is free with the price of museum admission, ($6 for adults and $4 for seniors and students.) And you’ll also get a chance to taste Claire’s crunch cake, will be served after the presentation.
The Mack presentation is part of the History Museum’s monthly “Courthouse Docket” series, sponsored by the Cypress Lawn Heritage Foundation.
The Cypress Lawn Heritage Foundation was created to promote educational and cultural activities, and to encourage the preservation and restoration of the incomparable, art, architecture, and arboretum at Cypress Lawn Cemetery.
