Redwood City Parks, Recreation and Community Services is holding its second annual Halloween home decorating contest.
The contest entry form opens at 12:01 a.m. on Oct. 4 and closes on Oct. 22, and is open to all residents of Redwood City, including those who reside in Emerald Hills and North Fair Oaks. There is no cost to enter. Judging will occur on Oct. 26 and Oct. 27, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Residents are welcome to decorate their houses, condos, apartments, windows, or the like, and entries will be judged in four categories: Scariest, Creative, Best Effects, and Judges’ Favorite. Winners will receive festive prizes, gift certificates for local businesses, and yard signs for display.
