San Mateo County Sheriff’s deputies are searching for suspects following a shooting into a restaurant in North Fair Oaks.
On Sunday just before 2 a.m., deputies responded to Mariscos El Camino at 2627 El Camino Real on a report of gunfire. Upon arrival, deputies learned an unknown suspect or suspects fired an undisclosed number of rounds into the restaurant.
Several victims suffered minor injuries during the attack, the Sheriff’s Office said.
“Deputies have collected evidence from the scene and detectives are following up with victims and witnesses,” the Sheriff’s Office said.
Mariscos El Camino had only recently been the victim of a serious crime involving a gun. In August, a suspect robbed the restaurant at gunpoint, fleeing with an undisclosed amount of cash, the Sheriff’s Office said.
