Supply chain issues prompt Peninsula Humane Society to request donations of canned cat food

With supply chain problems impacting its stock of canned foods, the Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA (PHS/SPCA) is requesting community donations to help feed its felines.

The PHS/SPCA is requesting donations of these items:

  • Chicken Soup for the Soul Pet Food Cat Food Chicken & Turkey Recipe Pate, 5.5 oz
  • NutriSource Cat and Kitten Chicken/Turkey/Lamb Food, 5 oz
  • NutriSource Kitten Formula Chicken/Turkey/Lamb/Fish Food, 5 oz

Donations can be brought to the PHS/SPCA at 1450 Rollins Road in Burlingame, or shipped to that address (zip code: 94010).

“At this time, we do not need dry cat food or any dog food for the shelter animals,” the PHS/SPCA added. “However, if you have other types of pet food to donate, we can accept unopened and unexpired pet food of all kinds (except prescription foods) for our Pet Food Bank.”
