Three artists will present proposals for the Healthy Community Mural in North Fair Oaks on Tuesday, Feb. 7.
The winning mural idea will this summer adorn a series of panels along Fifth Avenue, where the street dips beneath the Caltrain tracks between El Camino Real and Middlefield Road.
Artists Morgan Bricca, Emily Fromm and Elizabeth Gomez will present at North Fair Oaks Library, 2510 Middlefield Rd, from 6-8 p.m. in a meeting that can viewed in person or via Zoom.
Their proposals were selected from a pool of 15 artist proposals. After their presentations, members of the public will have an opportunity to provide feedback.
“Last year we asked the community a series of questions about what they would like to see in this very visible location, focusing on what a health community looks like” said Robin Rodricks, executive director of the County’s Office of Arts and Culture.”
The selected artist will be expected complete the mural this summer.
