Volunteers in the community are encouraged to join Street Life Ministries and the Redwood City Police Department in an effort to clean up an abandoned homeless camp.
The Community Clean Day is scheduled to take place at Shasta Street under Woodside Road on Monday, April 16 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The area is known as a site of an abandoned homeless camp and has been neglected by state agencies, organizers said.
