The annual Hometown Holidays and Children’s Festival is set to kick off the holiday season in downtown Redwood City on Saturday, Dec. 2 at Courthouse Square.
The Downtown Business Group of Redwood City hosts the free, family-friendly festival, which will take place rain or shine from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The festival will feature musical performances by local schools, entertainment by the Peninsula Ballet Theatre, a holiday parade, snow lot, photos with Santa Claus, the annual tree lighting ceremony and caroling.
