The Latino Community Council of Redwood City is hosting its annual Kermes Dia Del Nino, or Day of the Child Celebration, on April 29.
The celebration raises money for North Fair Oaks Library as well as nonprofit programs serving Redwood City’s Latino community.
It runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the North Fair Oaks Community Center at 2600 Middlefield Rd and includes food and entertainment.
“Each week hundreds of individuals and families with children come to the Fair Oaks Library to read, to learn and expand their knowledge and experience,” organizers said. “Help us bring the best library experience to the Fair Oaks community by sponsoring this event.”
Sponsors thus far have been listed as Facebook, Sims Metal Management, SandHill Properties and Patelco.
