A $5 all-you-can-eat breakfast served by a local IHOP crew on Saturday will benefit Kennedy Middle School’s outdoor education program.
The annual breakfast fundraiser is set to run from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 11, in the school’s gym at 2521 Goodwin Ave.
For just $5, “there will be pancakes, sausage, coffee and cocoa served by the students under the guidance of Angel Eduardo and his crew from IHOP,” organizers posted online. Redwood City firefighters will make an appearance.
Proceeds will help fund the 43rd annual Grand Canyon – Havasu ecology trek for 85 seventh grade students, a 10-day educational trip that includes an 11-mile backpack hike down to Havasu Falls, where they will learn about the canyon and the Havasupai Indians who live there.
