While a college degree always looks good on a resume, employers often favor applicants with on-the-job experience. Thankfully for students at Cañada College, there are opportunities to have both.
On Wednesday, Feb. 5, the Cañada College Career Center’s Spring Internship Fair will take place, inviting all students to mingle with dozens of local employers. The fair will run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in The Grove on the campus. View the growing list of employers who will be attending here. Employers wanting to attend can register here.
Some internships are paid. Some offer college credit. All offer an invaluable real world education and insight into career goals.
Can’t make it on Feb. 5? Mark your calendars for April 15, where from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. the Cañada College Spring Career Fair takes place, also in The Grove. The fair will offer free food, resume help and prize giveaways. Employers can register to participate in the fair starting Feb. 10.
“The purpose of the fair is to connect employers with potential candidates for full and part-time employment for all students and all majors,” college officials said.
