The Redwood City Friends of the Library to celebrate 50th anniversary on Sunday, June 12, with 'huge' book sale.

Annual book donation event to benefit Redwood City Library

in Community

After admitting to some “hibernating, celebrating and probably too much food” over the holidays, the Friends of the Redwood City Public Library are hitting the ground running in 2021 with their “6th Book Donation Event” Sat., Jan. 16 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Book donors can meet the volunteers behind the library at 1044 Middlefield Rd. in Redwood City that day to donate new or gently used books, hard back fiction published within the last three years and children’s books.

Donors are asked to bring their donations in a box or bag and to load them onto the library’s carts as a COVID-19 safety measure. Mask wearing is mandatory and donors are asked to stay 6 ft. apart during their visit.
