The San Mateo Police Department has announced it has established a new, safe meetup spot for people meeting to conduct online transactions.
The site, designated by a sign in front of the Police Department at 200 Franklin Pkwy.
The area is monitored 24/7 by security cameras.
“But be advised, the City of San Mateo assumes no liability for transactions or other activity occurring at this location,” police said.
