Belmont police were investigating a fatal shooting in the 2400 block of Carlmont Drive Monday morning, police said.
Police responded to the shooting call at 10:47 a.m. and say the incident appears to be isolated and there is no active threat to the community.
“Detectives are actively working the case and more information will be provided when available,” police said.
