Stand-up comedy is coming to San Mateo.
Near Me Comedy is bringing live comedy to Bobabia!, a boba shop located at 271 Baldwin Ave. A show is scheduled for April 1 from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Doors open at 7:15 p.m. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased here.
“We all know there is nothing to do in San Mateo after eating at one of the great restaurants, except going to the movies,” organizers said. “Why not come out and watch some live stand up right in your backyard?”
Near Me Comedy’s shows feature comedians seen on Comedy Central, YouTube, Netflix, SF Sketchfest, TikTok and more, organizers said, adding that shows are intended for an adult audience.
