The San Mateo County Board of Supervisors will resume in-person meetings starting May 3, although the public will be welcomed back to its chambers in a limited capacity, and virtual participation will continue to be offered, County officials said.
The May 3 meeting will be the first conducted in person since the Board Chambers went fully virtual in March 2020 due to the pandemic.
Some supervisors will join remotely.
“Other public County meetings are expected to resume in-person soon, too,” County officials said.
Masks are highly encouraged, but not required, at Board meetings, which are held at 400 County Center in Redwood City (see the meetings calendar here).
Redwood City has also moved to a hybrid format for its City Council meetings.
