All vehicles in the SamTrans feet now offer free Wi-Fi, enabling riders to text, email, browse the internet, access social media and play games.
Current bandwidth limits video streaming.
Connect to “SamTrans-Wi-Fi” after boarding the bus to access the service.
“Installation was completed in March, and the soft launch was well-received by SamTrans riders,” the transit agency said.
On-board Wi-Fi provides riders better access to the internet, including SamTrans and real-time departure information, improving the customer experience, according to SamTrans.
